The Great Trump Symposium

The following is a collection of videos, memes, imageboard posts, and news headlines about Donald Trump, mainly the delicious amounts of butthurt coming from democrats.

Have an absolutely Trumptastic inauguration day!

The complete butthurt collection:

Of course that doesn’t show all the depression and rage, heck, at this point they’re doing the rage stage and depression stage at the same time, thus I’m gonna post some more salt.

Enjoy!

Starting off we have the vile cesspit of leftism known as r/negareddit. I already knew of the place before the election so I was preparing myself for their hilarious reactions, but I never thought it would be this tasty!

My reaction to this is a combination of gloating and laughter, but words can only mean so much, so instead I’m going to post this wonderful reaction image:

Now let’s take a peek at twitter and facebook and see the delicious salt that has been brewing there.

Stop acting like whites are the only one supporting the movement. I’m a brown man and I bloody hate your subversive, decadent garbage!

And don’t think this is just some people exaggerating on the internet for likes or whatever. People are legitimately breaking down over this and it’s beautiful.

Just look at this picture for proof:

Or this one:

You can see the genuine sadness in their eyes, that look of pure agony and despair that they have lost. Truly beautiful isn’t it? Well have some more, for your viewing pleasure of course!

This just fills me with more joy and smugness, I think a smug pepe can truly capture the sheer happiness I feel: 1484368187573

And you’d think that their workplaces or universities would still have them work like normal, sane human beings. But no, thanks to years of decadence and softening, the institutions they study at are actually giving them a break. If you didn’t already believe that western society is on the decline then you will surely believe me now. We’ve become a society of weak-willed crybaby pansies.

Absolutely pathetic isn’t it? You see, a society can be best judged by its institution of learning and while our universities still do great research, the fact that this along with “Safe Spaces” and “Social Justice Classes” are a thing shows that we’re decaying as a society. If institutions of learning become corrupted and weak-willed, what shall future generations do? What will society do? Education is something for the strong-willed intellectuals of tomorrow, men and women who are not concerned with trivial things and have a skin as this as an oak tree, not a bunch of crybabies.

Anyways I think you get the point.

Meanwhile in the Trump camp, our glorious victory was foretold months before its occurrence, through the holy repeating integers of the frog god Kek:

If that’s not mystical, I don’t know what is. Praise KEK!

But even then, election night was intense and nail-biting. This montage truly depicts the mood quite well:

Finally, when the battle was fought and won, when the meter crept over the 276 line, the celebration finally took place. The movement has finally won  its first victory! The ruinous powers that be recoiled in horror for the first time in seemingly ages! All the comfortably decadent degenerates finally had their bubble shattered, their smug egotistical grins nowhere to be seen, seemingly stolen by the other side.

Of course my terribly written words cannot describe the mood, in fact I doubt anything can, but I feel as though these pepes portray it far better.

Oh and I don’t know where to put this but I felt like including this video in here somewhere.

Have an absolutely TRUMPTASTIC inauguration and keep slurping those liberal tears everybody! This is only the beginning! You see, the subversives have tried long and hard to kill tradition, order and civilization—and succeeded. But man is an ironic creature. It is ironic that this very victory has been proven to be so undesirable that young people from across the world are fleeing from it. But not to the old right, whom they resent, but to an even older right. A right that hasn’t shown its ancient and pockmarked face in over a century, a right whom the old left and old right have killed. This is the irony my friends, that this “victory” of the subversives is the overture to a storm. A storm that will wash away all the filth that has been building up for so long. A storm that will cleanse the Earth and bring humanity to the stars. And this time, there will be no one to stop us.

All I have left to say is

  1. The entire civilized world, not just the “decadent” West, has denounced fascism, which you seem unhealthily devoted to. They’ve done so because fascist states are repressive ones that deny people of their lives, their humanity, and certainly don’t allow the freedom of speech you’re currently enjoying.

The recent rise of this fetish for fascism is easy to understand. When people are fearful because of perceived economic and or social upheaval, they want an easy answer and a “strong man” type, both of which are seductive because they offer easy solutions to complex problems, cutting through any confusion and negating it.

I’d like to recommend a book to you. It was written in 1951, but it is still relevant. It’s called The True Believer: Thoughts on the Nature of Mass Movements by Eric Hoffer, whom no one could describe as “soft”–he was a working class intellectual.

I will leave you with this quote from his book:

“All the true believers of our time-whether Communist, Nazi, Fascist, Japanese, or Catholic–declaimed volubly….on the decadence of Western democracies. The burden of their talk is that in the democracies people are too soft, too pleasure-loving and too selfish to die for a nation, a God, or a holy cause. This lack of a readiness to die, we are told, is indicative of an inner rot–a moral and biological decay. The democracies are old, corrupt, and decadent. They are no match for the virile congregations of the faithful who are about to inherit the earth.”

    Sound familiar?

    • Well I’m gonna say this right off the bat, this is gonna be a very long post, so please bear with me and come to a conclusion after you’re done reading the entire thing before you make hasty assumptions, for I have done the same thing with your response. Honestly I probably could’ve made this a new blogpost but I like the simplicity of a reply button.

      >The entire civilized world, not just the “decadent” West, has denounced fascism, which you seem unhealthily devoted to. But I’m not really a fascist because dictatorship and overbearing repression is in general, a very inefficient way to govern. Mainly because having a few supreme heads of power tends to have those leaders themselves become decadent due to having no external threat, and too much repression leads to the state having too many variables to look out for the people becoming rebellious. Essentially it’s a easy recipe for absolute chaos from the fallout of the revolution or even more decadence, just with it being concentrated in the upper echelons of society. I still stand by my statement in my previous post about the ideal form of government is a semi-aristocratic republic with a strong constitution that protects individual rights, for I don’t see rights themselves as a problem, but how society reacts to the choices made through use of such rights.

What do I mean by this? Well it’s all about culture and it’s effect on not only how people act but also how future generations will act. You see, all cultures tend to value a set of morals along with mental and physical characteristics that go along with that trait, and it has been shown by a variety of scientists that certain genes cause a predisposition to mental traits, for example the “warrior gene” causes a predisposition to violence, so a society that glorifies violence will naturally have a higher quantity of those “warrior genes” as the people who don’t follow that norm “Don’t get laid”, with the people who don’t have that gene getting mentally conditioned to act like they do. This leads to future generations having a larger predisposition to violence due to not only their genetic code, but also due to it being encouraged. Even if you make a HUGE cultural shift and encourage extreme pacifism, they still have a natural predisposition so the damage has been done. So how does this relate to today’s situation? Well, if you look at history, you will find that every successful society that managed to go beyond the category of cave dwelling savage all tend to value a few basic traits. These traits include a (healthy) respect for authority, generosity, deferring instant gratification for a higher reward, respect for a higher cause, patriotism and group cooperation. While you could argue that these traits have been twisted over the years, there is no doubt that they thought of such traits as a higher ideal. At first, these traits were encouraged by an emperor or a church, but as we become more intelligent we started to encourage them through rationalism, logical deduction, and a mainstream culture that the people believe is a good representation of that which (arguably) is an even better way to encourage them. But with the advent of postmodern philosophies and cultural/moral relativism, these values no longer have a reason to be encouraged. There is no “universal truth” or superior or inferior cultures and that we must tolerate everyone no matter how barbaric they are. Of course you could argue “B-but tolerance culture isn’t about that, it’s about not being xenophobic and seeing eye-to-eye with other people”, and while that may have been the original intention of it, the results are wholly different. People have been indoctrinated into this cultural relativism so badly that they cannot accept that a culture is incompatible with their own values or that it is not equal to theirs, and that we must tolerate them no matter what. A good example of this is Europe and 3rd world migration, even though the swarms of “refugees” (I use that term extremely lightly as only 1/10 of them are actual Syrians, most come from Somalia or Pakistan) are showing over and over again that their ideology is simply not compatible with secular western values, with many of them self-segregating into ghettos and committing many horrific crimes, which of course the European government tries to cover up. You see, we have become so obsessed with this extrinsic-materialistic take on people that we completely deny the cultural and mental aspects as it would lead to a conclusion that we are uncomfortable with, which is that cultures simply are not equal and that some cultures are objectively better for humanity than others. Not only that, but we lack a core cultural identity or higher cause to fight for besides our own, and while this isn’t a problem for some people who simply create their own meaning in life through struggle and go full Nietzchean-ubermensch or simply have no need for a higher purpose, the vast majority of people lack the depth to go ubermensch but need meaning in their life. This leads to extremely unhappy and cynical people, and what do unhappy and cynical people do? They try to find happiness, but every media outlet tells them that protecting their culture or delaying gratification is for chumps and you just gotta “be chill n happy bro” so they drown out their lack of meaning through rampant hedonism, following a strong YOLO mentality. This not only is pretty counterproductive in the long run as your body gets used to the high and the existential pain is still there, but it is also extremely bad for society due to being a waste of resources in our already spread-thin Earth, creates weak-minded fools, and leads to the destruction of the aforementioned values that built civilization. Rich profiteers wanting to make a quick buck on this decay start encouraging this rampant hedonism through marketing and advertisement as all profiteers do and the decay is accelerated even further. This is the death of civilization, this is the devolution from man to ape. Just like how man is a creature that evolved from beast, it can easily go back to being a beast if we try hard enough. There is a thin line between civilization and destruction, between order and chaos, and we are crossing further and further into destruction.

Basically, postmodenrism has killed the soul of humanity. It has deprived us of an incentive to be civilized and delay gratification for a greater good, thus killing civilization itself. Simply banning things isn’t the answer, it will take a massive cultural mindset change to actually fix the problems I want to fix. The government getting oppressive simply causes the people to fight in the other direction.

Also another thing, moderate repression and violence is the backbone of all civilization. A society by its cannot be 100% voluntary as there will always be people who fight it, not only that but society itself is built on the repression of certain urges for a higher purpose. When I get mad at someone, I repress my urge to bash his head in, when I’m tired but I have homework to be done, I repress my urge to sleep and to my homework. Every law enforcement agency is by its nature, violent. Every civilization by its nature is one of repression. That all being said, there are different forms of repression needed for different eras of a civilization, thus speech must never be repressed as that is what the people use to voice what form of repression is necessary for the time being. While there are definitely ridiculous things that can be said, it must never be censored by the state as that would lead to even more decadence.

      >The recent rise of this fetish for fascism is easy to understand. Hoffer is definitely is right about history being rather cyclical, similar groups of people supporting mass movements, and mass movements behaving the same way, but this doesn’t really negate the value of a mass movement. For example, the French Enlightenment would definitely be a radical mass movement, but it’s not a bad one, in fact it is a good one. Essentially you make the mistake that just because movements have similar behaviors and demographics, mass movements by their very nature are wrong no matter what the movement is advocating for. Indeed the thing that Hoffer got horribly wrong about the nature of mass movements is that it stifles innovation, this is simply not the case, the energy invested into a movement galvanizes the people within it, causing them to do many great things in the name of that movement. For example, countless works of art and literature would’ve never been made if it weren’t for the French Revolution. Countless inventions would’ve never been made if world war 2 never happened. So if you look at a mass movement as the rise of the movement itself, it appears as though innovation has stagnated, but if you look at the consequences of the movement, you will see that it has caused a lot of innovation. That being said, constant mass movement and strife is a very, very bad thing for the stability of a civilization and definitely leads to stagnation.

      • Ah, Sid. Although I think we disagree on almost everything, I respect you as a thinker and enjoy talking with you.

This will be a short response: Hoffer does not claim that all mass movements are wrong. So, I apologize if I misrepresented him. He has particular chapters on good and useful mass movements, and spends quite a bit of time on the Enlightenment itself.

I am somewhat stifled in what I can say by my “teacher mask”; I hope that we can keep in touch once you leave 8th grade, so I can lay it all out there.
